Bonjour, y'all. I’m Laura. I’m an ACD/writer with over a decade of experience. I was raised in Austin ad agencies but have spent the past few years in-house. I’m a concept-first kinda gal, with a lifelong love of finding the right words to tell the story I know you’d like to hear. I spent the past few years living and working in Berlin, and have recently returned to the US to continue my work as a Creative Lead while also learning how to direct what I write.
I'm a writer who likes to write as much as possible. I know how to think big and write for small spaces. I love writing for any media, but I especially love writing scripts and directing. I’m most comfortable when I’m coming up with ways to make you laugh and finding new ways to say what we’ve all been thinking. Fun fact: In February 2024, I completed a 3-month continuing education program through Austin Film Society, where I learned a bunch of the technical know-how that I’ve needed to fully dive into directing. I’m shooting and editing my first document right now! Stay tuned in March 2024 for “Lazy Turtle Club”.
this is me, my husband Bradley, our rescue dog Wookie, and our house in Austin a few weeks before we moved away for Berlin after a decade in the Lone Star State :’) My Dad has since killed most of the plants I left in his care, some of which are featured here before their untimely demise.
