Coastal Mississippi Tourism Campaign
You are now looking at a dream project of mine. In the fall of 2020, I found out that a great agency called Sparkloft Media needed a writer to help them create a campaign concept for the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I’m from the MS Gulf Coast and proud of it, I’ve worked on lots of tourism brands in my career, and they could not have found a better person for the job than me for this campaign. So we got to work quickly and made some super fun tourism work that respected a few things; where I’m from, the health requirements of the early pandemic, and the natural beauty of Coastal Mississippi.
I loved writing this script. As a freelancer, I sadly didn’t get to play a part in any of the production, but I’m still super proud of getting to write a love letter to my hometown in the form of a tourism script that encouraged people to get out into nature during a scary pandemic phase.
